I am having 2nd thoughts about what I am wearing to my daughter's wedding THIS Saturday 05 14 2005. It is formal, 11:00 a.m. wedding - my exhusband is not wearing a tux and neither is the father of the groom. However, groomsmen are in tuxes, bridesmaids in long formals. MOG is wearing a long dress. I am wearing an after five pantsuit, with netting, beadwork, sequins - palazzo style pants (looks like a skirt). Is that appropriate - my daughter loves it and wants me to wear it, but I don't want to be inappropriate. HELP.

Dear MOB,
If your daughter loves it and you feel good in it, you should wear it. By your description the outfit seems semi-formal to formal with the beadwork and sequins. The MOG is wearing a long dress and yours looks similar. You will be fine.
Bottom line: if you don't feel pretty in it, go shopping for a long dress. If you do, go for it.

Dear MOB,
Your pants suit sounds beautiful! The sequins, beadwork and the palazzo pants sound dressy and fun. If I were you I would definitely wear it, especially when your daughter loves it so much. Lori of ModelBride.com http://www.modelbride.com
