     Mother of the Bride Dress

Thanks for the previous advice. I have one more question please. Is it proper to wear a dress that is all beaded. It's a light color which has a kind of gold tone to it. My daughter's dress is only beaded on the top and bottom of the dress. The bridesmaid gowns are not beaded at all. I received many compliments when trying the dress on but I want to be sure it's not too much!!! Thanks for your advice.

Dear Mother of the bride,

As long as your dress is not overpowering the bride, you are in good taste. The mother of the bride should be compatible with the bridal party without being obtrusive.
