Mother of the Bride Dress coordinating with purple and green

I am looking for a dress for my daughters wedding. This is the first time I will be a mother of the bride. The wedding is in 11 days at 2 PM. The wedding party is in dark purple (eggplant). The mother of the groom has already picked out a mint green dress. I don't know what color to choose. I know I need to be conservative, but I have not found anything I like at any of the bridal stores but plan on trying Macys and Dillards today. Any advice for me?

Is this an acceptable gown I just found?

Dear Bporteriii,

The color seems fine, but the style looks too much like something a bridesmaid could wear. Your dress should be in the same formality as the MOG. So, a neutral color would be fine, but a dress that suits the formality of the affair.

Best wishes,
