I am the mother of the bride and I would like to wear a long white skirt, a black top and black and white shoes. My son told me that is a big "no no" to wear a white or cream skirt because it will clash with the bride.
Please help me.
Thank you

As long as your outfit does not resemble a bridal gown you are fine. It is acceptable for people other than the bride to wear white, cream or off-white - again, as long as the dress couldn't be mistaken for a bridal gown. Please remember that you should wait for the mother of the bride to select her dress and then coordinate with her wearing coordinating colors and length.
