Mother of the groom dress color for black and white wedding
My sister's son is getting married and it is a black and white wedding. They are making it black tie optional. It is a Sunday night wedding because they are orthodox jews. My sister needs to know what color of dress she can/should look for and what she should wear?
Thank you

For an orthodox Jewish wedding, I would suggest wearing and outfit that is not too revealing. That means at least tea length dress, 3/4 or long sleeves and high neckline. If the dress is strapless, or has spaghetti straps, but has a jacket to be put on top, that's fine too, as long as it the dress underneath is not too low-cut and doesn't show cleavage. If the color of the wedding is black-and-wite, the obvious choice of the color is black; however, there are some pretty outfits available at major department stores that incorporate both colors: black and white.
