Shoes for Grandmother of the Bride

Our daughter is getting married just before the official start of fall. Her grandmother will be wearing a mint green suit, with pearl necklace and earrings. She has difficulty walking. She can't find any suitable ivory colored shoes to wear. Would it be OK for her to wear black shoes? Any other suggestions? She can't wear heels due to recent knee surgery. Thanks.

Congratulations on your daughter's wedding! The Grandma can wear any light color shoes - beige, taupe - any neutral color, not necessary ivory. Black would stand out too much against her overall light-color outfit. Anything neutral will not attract attention and will be fine, while black will really sand out too much. I am sure you will find comfy shoes in these neutral colors. Try Aerosoles - they are the comfiest! Enjoy the wedding!
