Bridesmaids are wearing long dark purple (lapis). The mother of bride has chosen knee length black dress with sheer jacket. I was told at bridal store that, as mother of groom, I can wear whatever length I prefer. I found a champagne gold long dress lots of scalloped layers that can be altered. Is tea length or a bit longer okay? I found a 2nd choice a jackieo type knee length that is off white with gold stitching all over dress and very short jacket.
