What color dress should mother of the bride wear?

My daughter is getting married October 1st. The colors of the bridemaids dresses are two shades of purple: victorian Lilac and Lavender haze. What should i wear. Tans don't look good on me.

There are many colors that can coordinate well with purple. Yellow, green, navy and royal blue are all good choices. Try them on to see if these color go well with your skin tone. Get help from the salesperson in the bridal shop; they are a good resource since they dress a lot of women for weddings.

Finding the perfect color is always hard, especially on such a big day. Here are some color suggestions that will look great with your daughters color combination, platinum, plum or eggplant, celadon, chocolate brown, and pink. I would choose a color that makes you feel most beautiful and comfortable in.
