What color shoe for mother of the bride?

I am the mother of the bride have changed my dress two weeks before the wedding. My daughter's dress is champagne color, the bridesmaids dresses are tea length sage green, and they are wearing champagne colored strappy heels. My dress is lavender, tea length. Should my shoes match my dress, or can I also wear champagne colored shoes? The MOG is wearing a pink tea length dress with matching pink shoes. Thank you so much!!

Congratulations on your daughter's wedding! You can do several things: you can match your shoes to your dress (as MOG did) or you can go for a little contrast and have your shoes in Champagne color. However, I would not recommend to replicate the bridesmaids' shoe color exactly. Why not go for any "Goldtone" color for your shoes, such as Gold or Bronze. That would not contradict the bridesmaids' shoe color, but rather, compliment the entire color scheme nicely. Your purse should coordinate with your shoes. Enjoy the wedding!
