What color should the mother of the groom wear?

Hi,

My son is getting married in a few months. The bridesmaid dresses are navy blue, the mob is wearing maroon. What color should I look for? I have no clue. Please hurry with help!

Thanks

You can wear any color that you want, just as long as it coordinates with the rest of the bridal party.

Maybe something with navy blue and ivory would be nice.

If you have a dress in mind and it is a similar color as the bridesmaids make sure it has some distictive characteristics. The mothers of the bride and groom customarily wear colors that will compliment the bridal party but aren't necessarily the same color.

Colors that compliment navy blue are:
light blue, plum, tangerine, mint green, aqua

Good Luck,
