What should mother of the bride wear if escorting bride down the aisle?

My mom is going to be escorting me down the aisle at my wedding in May and we're both wondering what is appropriate attire for her to wear. My dress is a halter top. The bridesmaids are wearing tea length "clover" colored dresses. My colors are green/bronze. I'm going for earth tones... natural.

Your Mom's dress should be the same formality as Mother of the Groom's dress. As to the color, she can go for Bronze, Taupe, Champagne and even Chocolate Brown - all these colors will look magnificent with your bridesmaids' colors! Enjoy your wedding!
