brown and blue mother of the groom dress

My son's wedding is in July. The brides colors are brown and baby blue. The mother of the bride has not chosen a dress yet but has told me to go ahead and get mine. What color should I get? I really don't want to get baby blue.

Congratulations on your son's wedding! You don't have to get a baby blue dress; you can go for navy blue, all shades of brown - chocolate, bronze and even champagne. However, it is still enough time until July: I suggest you wait for the Mother of the Bride to select her dress first, and then make your move based on her chosen color. Enjoy the wedding!
