can i wear an ivory colored dress to my sons wedding?

You should check to see that the bride is not wearing ivory first. Then see what the bridesmaids are wearing ad finally, ask the mother of the bride what she is wearing. The mother of the bride gets to select her gown first. You should wear a color complementary to hers and the bridal party but not the same.
