mother not making decisions on dress and MOG eager to decide

Hello,

My mother is taking her time deciding on her attire for the August wedding - has barely started looking and it seems on the other hand, the MOG has been keen to make a decision. Because we live in different states, we have not had the chance for the parents to meet each other yet which makes it very difficult for them to just pick up the phone to discuss. I have been suggesting to my fiance that it would be best for his mother to wait a little to make a decision since my mother hasn't. I do not feel comfortable pushing my mother to make a decision but am feeling stressed time is running out.

Am I doing the wrong thing by indirectly asking the MOG to wait???

It's only April, so give you mom a little more time. But, you can ask her when she plans to shop. That would be a fair question and a reasonable way to open the discussion. Maybe she isn't aware that the mother of the groom is waiting.
