The colors of the wedding are mint green and lavender. The bride is wearing diamond white dress. What colors should the mothers wear. Is Ivory or champagne appropriate at all.

Dear Babyrnoc,
There are many colors that blend with those two colors--too many to mention. Champagne is fine as is ivory as long as the dress cannot be confused with a wedding dress.
Please remember that mothers do not wear strapless gowns. The dresses should be conservative.

Congratulations on your daughter's wedding! Any soft color that corresponds with Mint Green and Lavender would be fine. Champagne would look great, I agree. So woud Powder Blue. Look into soft, subdued colors that will "blend in" well. Avoid intense, dark shades or "jewel tones" - they will overwhelm the otherwise soft colors of the wedding. Enjoy! So any soft color of the rainbow is ok as long as it blends? The attendents are wearing celedon, mint green shade so the mothers should stay away from that color? The mothers do not have to wear the colors of the weddings, just so they blend well.?
