     mother of the bride

I need your help, my sister-in-law is getting married May 14,2005 at 3:00 p.m. and I am the one that has to help my mother-in-law find a dress, I don't know what style she needs, long, tea length, to knees or what and the other problem is what color does she need to wear. The bridesmaid are going to be in cornflower blue and I really don't know what colors look good with that. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

OK, deep breath now...

The length of the mother of the bride dress shoould match the length of the bride's dress.

There are many colors that coordinate well with cornflower blue. You could slect the obvious like varying shades of blue, i.e. Royal, Baby, periwinkle etc. Yellow goes nicely with blue too and you can select varying shade of yellow as well like gold. Have your mother in law try on dresses in a few of those colors to see what shade go best with her skin tone. Get some help from the dress shop owner too.

Once she makes her selection she should tell the Mother of the Groom her color choice so she can select her gown.

No worries...
