mother of the bride dress and shoes

Hi!
My daughter is getting married in November of this year 2005. Her colors for the wedding are navy blue and silver (bridesmaids dresses). I am having great difficulty trying to decide which color to choose for myself and time is closing in on me. I was considering a very light (ice) blue floor length gown with a bolero type jacket and strappy type sandals but many have commented that the color will stand out too much in pictures etc. Should I also go with a navy colored dress or some other color? The time of year is difficult for color. I am blond haired and blue eyed and 46 years old. If that info helps any. I would really appreciate some help here!
Thanks so much!!

Dear MOB,

The color sounds good to me because of the silver in the bridesmaids' dresses. You wouldn't want to wear the same exact color. You'd look like one of the bridesmaids. I think you will be fine.

I don't think November is too late to wear light blue.

Best wishes,
