The wedding is 20 days away, outdoors in the forest, by a lake, camping. The bride is wearing formal white gown, the bridesmaids in pastel full length single strap poly silk. My son, (the groom) and the bestmen are wearing black wrangler jeans and white or black shirts. The bride says it's very informal and here is the clincher, neither the bride or her mother know what the mob is wearing yet. Maybe jeans or a pantsuit or a dress (long or short)! Any suggestions here? I really don't want to look out of place.

Dear Lost in Bryce:
Either you or the Bride needs to call the MOB and ask her what she is wearing. Her role was to set the wedding attire well before now so you could find something in line with the style. To continue to keep it hidden with only 20 days remaining is not very considerate. We don't want to be unkind when speaking to her but time is of the essence. I completely agree. I sincerely hope the MOB can make up her mind quickly.
If she continues to evade your questions, perhaps you could simply ask the bride what she prefers. We really try to never upstage the MOB, but time is getting tight here.
Jeans with formal gowns in the forest? This will be interesting. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
