Hi, as you could probably tell by the subject line, I am the sister of the groom. I'm thirteen (5'4", 120 pounds). And I'm in charge of the guest book.

I have no clue what to wear, but I'd like it to be long, covering the feet, at least.

And one last question, how should I act when greeting with the guestbook? I've never met any of the bride's family, and I hardly know the bride (not through lack of trying).

Dear Meagan,

Typically the bride has some ideas of how she would like you to dress. If the other ladies are dressed in long dresses, you may also.

Usually you would be dressed in a very nice 'party' style dress. Imagine that you are attending a fancy birthday party and the boy you have a crush on will be there. That is the dress you want to wear. It would be best if it compliments

But ask the bride if she has any preferences first. Wink

Best wishes,
