I am attending a wedding in 2 weeks and I am stumped on what to wear. I have only been to weddings in the UK and I am pretty sure weddings in the USA are very different. The wedding is at 5pm and it will be held at the brides home. My husband is the best man.
I have a smart black suit that I plan wearing but with a bright/pastel coloured top, with matching jewelry. Is it unappropriate to wear a black suit? Which colours will go best for a top?

I think that the pantsuit sounds perfect. The matching accessories will complete your outfit! As for the color top...it is really up to you and whatever color looks best with your skin tone and hair color. You can wear a light color like ivory, silver, sage green or a brighter color like kelly green or purple. Most importantly make sure that the color you pick makes your suit pop!
