I have been invited to a 6:00 wedding to be held in a park in the middle of June. It will be hot out (it's in Savannah, GA) and I am trying to determine what is appropriate attire for both my boyfriend and me. The reception (and the ceremony if it's raining) will be held in a nice hotel.
I have asked a couple of friends, and they suggested a flowing pastel type dress (dressier than a sundress, but along those same lines) and sandals with a small heel.
My boyfriend said he assumed he would be wearing a suit, but I think he will have a heat stroke if he does that.
Any advice would be great! Thanks so much!

Dear Wedding Guest,
If you feel that your dress would be appropriate for a nice restaurant, you should be fine. I think it is.
The suit would be perfect. But, he could wear a sport and slacks as well.
