Black and white attire for guest

I am 24, female and attending a co-workers wedding in about a weeks time, at 15:00. I do not feel comfortable in floral and "floaty" items of clothing. I would like to wear a pair of black slacks, a black & white asian inspired blouse, black pointy heels and a colored (possibly green) necklace. Is this appropriate? A dress code is not specified on the invitation.

Dear Trinity,

If not specified and due to the time of the ceremony, your choice will be perfectly appropriate.

I completely agree. If this is what you would wear to a very nice restaurant, you're fine.
