My fiancé and I have been invited to my cousins wedding at the end of July. It will be a 6:00 wedding with the reception immediately following. The location is a formal venue in mountains near Estes Park, CO. The wedding is outside and the reception inside. My fiancé only owns jeans, t-shirts and baseball caps. Does he have to wear a suit, or would black "Docker type pants" and a nice button down shirt work? Also, I was thinking of wearing a black dress with white poka-dots and "flirty" type sleeves. What is appropriate?

Dear Confused,
A suit is best for him and the little black dress or its equivalent would work for you. So, more than likely your dress will be fine.
Now, I know that Colorado is very informal and you may see some in jeans. But, that isn't what should be worn.
