My senior citizen mom picked out a pink dress for her wedding. Am I supposed to wear pink or not? Does it matter if you are a member of the wedding party?

If you are a member of the bridal party, you would wear what she wants you to wear. But, if you are simply an honored guest, you would not wear the same exact color as your mother or her attendants. You could try to blend. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
