Fall wedding - Nylons or not? What Colour?

I have a 2pm wedding to attend in October and am wearing a knee length black cocktail dress with closed toe black pumps. Should I be wearing nylons? If so, what colour is the most appropriate? Thanks!

Dear Guest,

It would probably be better to wear nylons with closed toe shoes in a nude color. To wear nylons these days is a choice, but closed toe pumps typically feel better with nylons.

In this circumstance, nylons are definitely optional. It isn't taboo to go with out nylons anymore, so go for comfort and have fun!
