Formal Wedding Guest Attire for Bestman's wife

I will be attending a wedding in mid-June in Minnesota. My husband will be the best man in the wedding and I don't know what to wear. The bride's wedding website states "The attire for wedding guests is formal" and they will be having over 400 guests. The wedding ceremony is at 4:00 in a Lutheran church and the reception will be at 5:30 in a club house at a golf course. Would you suggest a little black dress or something more formal?

Dear Guest in Minnesota,

Most likely the little black dress will be fine. Just pay very close attention to your accessories, hair, and makeup. Dress us the dress as much as possible.

Enjoy!
