Guest attire for formal October wedding in Long Island

It's indoor wedding. The reception beginns at 5pm after the wedding. Male guests are required to wear tuxedo and black tie. I am not sure what to wear to this wedding. Long dress or short dress? I found a dress online (please see the attached image) and am wondering if it's appropriate for the wedding. Please help me out. Thanks a lot.

Dear Guest,

The dress will be fine. For black tie, women have a choice in attire. We can wear long or short cocktail dresses. This one is great.

If the wedding is in a church, please wear a cover-up.
