My niece invited me to a Jack and Jill last week for her boyfriends, brothers wedding, and since I wasn't doing anything I figured why not. I went and had a great time even though I didn't know the bride or groom, or anyone else there. Here's where my dilemma kicks in - as I was leaving the Best Man to the wedding asked me to be his date. The wedding is a basic church wedding to a young couple and basic dinner after. I really don't have many details but the grooms men will be in Tuxedos. The wedding is at the end of June, and it will probably be quite warm. I have a rather large unfinished tattoo on my back and would like some advice on a summer dress that would be appropriate. I haven't been to a wedding since I was a kid. Please help!

Dear Tough One,
You would be dressed as one of the guests, not as one of the bridal party. If they are in tuxes, you would probably be in a cocktail dress. You could probably find one with a back to it. Another alternative is that you could either get your tatoo finished or have it removed and not worry about showing your back.
