Is a wrap required with a sleeveless dress in November?
I have a wedding this weekend at 3:30 in the afternoon. It's cold here in Massachusetts in November. The wedding and the reception are both being held at a country club. I have a wine colored sleeveless dress that is the equivalent of "a little black dress." Is it appropriate to wear a dressy jacket and check it immediately when I arrive; or do I have to wear a wrap during the ceremony regardless? If I have to wear one, when can I take it off? I'd prefer not to wear a wrap at all. It takes away from my dress, but I'll wear it if I have to. Please advise. Thanks!

Dear Please No Wrap,
You have good instincts. The jacket would be great and you don't have to wear anything over your dress for the event it self. This won't be in a church, so there is no worries.
