Yikes! I'm going to a wedding tomorrow. I logged on to post a question about wether or not a wrap was required and discovered that red is a definate no-no. The same woman who told me I had to wear a wrap told me that red was okay to wear to a wedding. My dress is more of a berry or wine color. Is it okay to wear this to a country club wedding at 3:30 in the afternoon in Massachusetts?

Dear To Wrap or No,

Red is a powerful color that draws the eye from the bride. This is why so many women in government wear the color :)

If it is on the darker side, you may be able to get away with it. I have a dark red dress that I have worn. It is very dark and works well.

Because your wedding is at a country club and not at a church, the wrap is not necessary. However, if this dress is revealing, it would be better to cover up a bit. This is also viewed as 'scene stealing.'

Best wishes,
