My husband and I are attending a wedding in July in Southwestern Ontario...It tends to be hot and sticky during that time. The wedding will be held outside and inside...sort of open concept area if you will.
What sort of attire should I choose for my husband, I am thinking of buying a nice sun dress for myself?
What do you suggest, he likes to wear suits to weddings, but we have never been in this situation before where it was more of an outdoor wedding

It is difficult to know. More than likely this will not be a formal wedding, but it could be. If you cannot ascertain from the formality of the invitation and time of day the formality of the event, it may be best to contact the couple and ask how formal it is.
Once you know how formal it will be then you would wear the type of attire that you would to any event that time of day and formality.
More than likely your husband would be in a suit and you would be in a very nice dress or quality separates. But, as I say, if we don't know the formality of the event, it is impossible to know for sure. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
