Light Suit to wear to a morning wedding

Hello,

I have been invited to a wedding of a very good friend which takes place next week 11 am. Would it be suitable to wear a light (something between natural white and beige) suit with pants or is the dress or skirt a must?

That's fine. You may be dressed more formally than most. But, you should look great.
