Mother's second wedding- can I wear white?

My mom is having a wedding Nov 12... is it okay to wear a white top(covered with a beige sweater)? The wedding is semi- informal, my mom is wearing a skirt peice, but no white. is it okay if i do?

Dear Wants White,

White is no longer off limits as long as the outfit cannot be mistaken for a bridal gown. So, you will be fine.

Just make sure the beige matches the white :)

Best wishes,
