NYC December Evening Wedding Guest Attire

I'm 21 years old, going to a December wedding in NYC with "evening attire." It's at a nice restaurant and I won't know anyone but a handful of people.
What can I assume is appropriate attire, where I feel classy and sophisticated, but can still show that I'm young and fun?

Dear Young and Fun,
Typically this would be the little black dress or its equivalent. So, choose something in this same formality. Make sure it looks high quality.
