I will be attending 2 weddings in October. One is at 3pm and is outdoors at a golf club, with a dinner reception immediately following the ceremony. The second is at a Catholic church at 2:30pm with a reception following the ceremony at another site.
I am a nursing mother, so I need something that will give me access discretely. I've seen some nursing dresses online that might work, but am not really excited about the choices. Most of them are black. Am I correct in thinking that I should not wear black, because the weddings are during the day? Not even a black print?
Would separates be ok for either of the weddings? If so, what about a black skirt? Separates would would make access for my baby easier, but I don't want to be underdressed. Thanks

Re: [yvaine] Nursing mother... separates ok for day weddings?

Dear Nursing Mom,
Black is fine these days. Cocktail attire would probably work for both of these events. So, choose an outfit that would be in this formality--dress or separates.
And please remember that if your child's name was not on the invitation she/he is not invited.
