Attending an outdoor wedding in late October in Canada. Wedding attire is semi-casual. What should I wear? I am a slightly overweight male, looking for attire geared toward short and stout.
Thanks! Very Confused Male

Dear Peter,
I am a tuxedo specialist, I am sorry but I can only help you in formal matters of dress, as far as casual goes, maybe a nice pair of dress slacks an open dress shirt with a navy blue blazer and a pair of bucks would suffice.

Dear Confused Male,
That sounds good. I have never heard of semi-casual. This is a new one on me. So, the blazer should be fine. If you are too formal, you can always take it off.

Oh my, I do apologize. This is semi-formal.
I guess that may change things slightly.

Not a problem. There are so many new dress codes everyday. I just figured we had a new one :)
Semi formal typically means suits for men. With this being an outside event, you will probably still see sport coats and slacks. But, to be safe, the suit will probably be best.
