I have absolutely no clue what to wear for this wedding. The wedding is outside at 4pm in upper Michigan Memorial weekend. The reception follows immediately after inside. I have purchased a very classy Black pant suit, but also have a Pink tea length skirt suit. The skirt suit has a Velvet Pink jacket and a very pretty Rose colored tea length skirt. I am lost and definitely want to fit in.
The colors of the wedding are Black and Pink.
Help!!!

You might want to go with the black suit only because velvet is more of a winter material. Pink would definitely be a wonderful color to wear though. Too bad about the material.

My suggestion is to go with the black suit. Black is great for any occasion and is a very classy and nice look, especially for weddings. The pink suit sounds pretty, it's just that velvet isn't an appropriate material for spring/summer weddings.

Are you sure about the Black Pant Suit? The Pink Velvet jacket is form fitting and waist lenght, but it is a very light weight velvet.

I still suggest to go with the black suit, but you can choose whichever outfit you like better and feel most beautiful in. I understand that the velvet is light weight, it's just that velvet is a material that should be worn during the Fall/Winter months. That's the biggest reason why I suggest the black suit, it is a classic look and you can't go wrong with that.

Hmmm, outdoor wedding in June at 4PM? Neither of these choices do it for me. I'd use this as the perfect excuse to go shopping for a beautiful new dress. Lightweight and pastel for the summer...
Chadwicks also has wedding guest attire. I've bought from this catalog many times for may different occasions.
