Thanks for the answers in my previous post. However, lucky me, my black dress does not fit, Agggh! ONly 3 weeks to the date, and I don't think I can loose the inches or have it let out enough to properly fit.
Soooo, my new question: Can I wear a long Red dress to my cousin's wedding on Feb 18th? She is going with a Valentine's theme: pink and white. The bridesmaids dresses are these colors. MOB is lilac. The wedding is 6pm formal to be held in a Methodist church, with a dinner reception to follow at the Country Club.
BTW, the dress in question is also available in the following colors: Rust, Sapphire, Teal Blue, Chocolate, Sage Green, Black, and Gold (which looks like a dark ivory or champagne). I have 2 choices of covers: an ivory marabou wrap with ivory satin bow or a black marabou short jacket.
Thanks so much! I have read many posts and there is so much savvy advice!

Dear Loves the Red,
Welcome back!
Red is the only taboo color left. It is because it is a strong color that attracts the eye--not good for a wedding.
Choose a color that looks good on you. You don't have to worry about blending with the bridal party unless you are part of the event.
