I am going to TWO weddings tomorrow. Both start at 2 pm with receptions to follow that I am somehow going to manage...but that is besides the point and an entirely different story. I am wondering if what I plan to wear is appropriate. The weather tomorrow is going to be cooler, rainy, and overcast due to the hurricane remnants headed north.
I was thinking of wearing a dress I wore to another wedding earlier this summer. It is a v-neck, strapped, a-line dressed that criss-crosses in the back and falls to about my knees in length. The color is basically light pink; fines lines of different shades of pink and white. I have matching pink high heeled shoes. I worry the color might not be right for a september (nearly fall) wedding.
My other option is an a-line black dress with straps and a ribbon to go around my waist. With this dress I can wear black high heeled shoes.
I am afraid I will get cold or that these options are not appropriate. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Dear Smore:
Since you didn't indicate formality for these weddings, I'd opt for the second choice for both weddings. Also, if you think you might get chilly, take a sweater or wrap with you and carry an umbrella since rain is in the forecast. Rhonda Allen, Bridal Consultant New Beginnings Weddings

Maybe this will help- The first wedding is a church service for my grandfather and his fiance (not formal) with a reception held at a local veterans hall with buffey dinner. The second wedding is for a much younger couple and the reception will be held in an outdoor tent starting around 4pm.
