Should wedding guests have hair and makeup professionally done?
My fiance is in a wedding this weekend (groomsman), its at 7pm. I have chosen a black dress with ivory poka-dots, ( i know you're probably thinking its hidieous) but its really beautiful. i have black heels and plan on wearing a black velvet choker. But i was wondering (this being my 1st wedding, and not knowing whats okay and not okay), if its appropriate to have my hair done professionally, all in curls and have my make up done?
thanks,
one stressed out girl!

There's no reason you cannot have your hair and makeup done. As long as your attire isn't matching the bridesmaids and you are not mistaken for a member of the bridal party you're fine.
Your outfit sounds lovely, except that velvet is really a wintery type of fabric. You might want to consider something a bit lighter for the springtime. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

Many website have rush deliver now so if you ordered something tonight you could have it in a day or two, unless you;re outside the US.
I really like the black onyx and the Y necklaces. Very classy withiut having to break the bank. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
