     Wearing white to a wedding

I will be attending a wedding over labor day weekend. It is going to be outdoors with a view of the beach. I was thinking of wearing a white pant suit. Would it be inappropriate for me to white even if it is a suit?

Dear Wearing White,

Not to worry. White is fine these days as long as the outfit doesn't appear to be a wedding gown. Red is the only color we don't wear, due to it's 'eye catching' qualities.

Best wishes,
