Hi! I have a wedding at 2:00pm and then a reception right after at a yatch club. I'd like to wear a black dress with white lace at the top of it. Its a very dressy dress and was wondering if this would be appropriate to wear? It doesnt say anything on the invitation.

I'd need more information to guess appropriately. Many 2 pm weddings are Catholic. If so, it would be more formal. So, your dress would be fine. However, a yacht club could be more dressy casual, which is street length dress or nice separates.
