Wedding guest attire for 3PM wedding in ny.

What would a guest wear to a 3pm wedding, in October, on a Sunday in New York? Crazy

There is no way to know without knowing where this is being held. If this is a catholic church wedding, it will be fairly formal. Where as, it could be held in a hall and informal.
