Wedding guest wearing a bridesmaids dress to a black tie wedding
I am, atending a 6pm black tie wedding in the south. Is it appropriate to wear a bridesmaids dress that is still in fasion?
it is a strapless 2-piece in dark red, and looks like it was purchased as "formal wear"??

I think you'll be fine with your dress as long as you don't upstage the bridal party.

I think that it is great that you are going to be able to wear your bridesmaid dress again! I am sure the bride is happy that you are getting use out of it.
It is fine to wear it as a guest to another wedding. Just make sure that it isn't the same one that the bride for this wedding picked for her girls.
