Wedding guest wearing spaghetti straps to a fall wedding

I am attending a wedding Oct 7 at 5:00 in CT. It is semi formal. I have a great black dress but it has spaghetti staps, is this appropriate to wear. The weather tends to be cool this time of year. HELP!!!Unimpressed

Dear Wedding in CT,

If the wedding is in a church, it may be best to wear some sort of cover up, such as a wrap or jacket. But, the dress seems fine.

Best wishes,

Audrey Hepburn made the "little black dress" a staple in a woman's wardrobe. You can't go wrong with it. It is a classic look nomatter the affair. The only reason why I would suggest wearing a shawl is because of the cooler weather, but other than that the shawl is optional.

Have fun!

I'm sorry, but from an etiquette point of view... skin is out in church. I know some don't agree. But, it just seems disrespectful to the church. At least we have two side of this though.
