What to Wear to a wedding reception (male)

I have been invited to a wedding reception this sat, and wondered what i should wear. Just trousers and a smart shirt or a jacket too, or maybe even a full shirt tie and suit ??

Could someone please let me know what i should wear ?? I have asked various guests and some are wearing suits and some are not ??

Many thanks

I am Male 23 years old, its is in a Marquee and in the evening. The wedding is very traditional (horse drawn carrage etc). I have an invatition for the evening celebration of the marrage, along with many others. My concern is that i dont not want to be under / over dressed.

Dear What to Wear,

A suit would be perfect. You may even see some in tuxes.

Best wishes,
