What to wear to 6:00 pm wedding at Amelia Island, FL
We will be attending a 6:00 pm wedding on Sat 8/14. The wedding will take place on the beach at Amelia Island, FL with reception inside at the "Ocean View Room". What is the appropriate dress?

Take your cue from the style of the invitation. Does it have formal script and wording (ie, spelling out all words we would normally abbreviate, such as dates)? Is it informal? In-between?
If you still don't know, one idea is to rely on the good ol'fashioned black dress. It can go well with any occassion.

To be on the safe side, be sure to choose shoes that allow you to walk on the sand comfortably. You could call the hotel directly to ask about the setup for their beach area. Sandy Riffman
