A close friend of mine is getting married this Saturday. Her invitation didn't specify what kind of wedding it'll be, but after looking up photos of her site online, it looks to be pretty formal.
After searching at different storesn and painstakingly trying on dress after dress, I finally found a dress that fits me perfectly. It is a solid, long, very light sea-green, strapless dress which I plan to wear with a cream colored shawl. The design of the dress is plain, no embellishments, but is it still too formal to wear for an evening, September wedding? My shawl is a bit more to the casual side, and if worn with the dress would it make it a bit more informal?
