I have been invited to an evening (8pm) church wedding in early July. The invitation stated semi-formal dress is suggested." I didn't really know what that meant for a lady. Also, I will be 7 months pregnant, so a new outfit will be in order no matter what the dress.

Dear 7 Months by July,
Typically this means 'cocktail attire,' which is the little black dress or its equivalent.

Semi-casual is cocktail/evening attire. You don't have to wear anything formal, a nice black dress would be perfect. Obviously you have to wear a maternity dress (congratulations!), so I would suggest a dress with an empire waist line which will flatter your figure.
