I am attending an afternoon outdoor wedding on Oct. 5th. The groom is a friend/ex from HS. The wedding is being held in the park, as well as the reception (finger food). The invitation doesn't mention attire, but does mention to bring your own chair since seating is limited (would beach chairs be appropiate???) It is a low-budget wedding and I assume casual. My options for attire are limited to black dress pants or the long "hippie" style skirts that were popular this year. The weather is supposed to be in the mid 80's with a chance of thunderstorms. Please help, I have no idea what to wear!

Dear Julia,
Beach chairs would probably be too short. You will probably want to take regular chairs. The skirt should be fine. I would imagine that this would be high quality casual.
